Videos Are Not Playing in the CMS

Videos in the HubSpot CMS may not play for various reasons. This guide helps you identify and fix the issue.

  1. Browser Check:

    • Ensure your browser is up-to-date.
    • Check if the issue occurs in a different browser as well.
  2. Video Format and Size:

    • Ensure the video is in a supported format (MP4) and under the maximum file size of 2 GB.
  3. CMS Settings:

    • Go to your HubSpot dashboard and select "Marketing" > "Files and Templates" > "Files".
    • Verify that the video is correctly uploaded.
  4. Embedding Code Check:

    • Ensure the embedding code is correctly integrated into your page.
    • Use HubSpot’s own video embedding code.
  5. Network and Firewall Settings:

    • Check if your network or firewall is blocking video playback.
  6. Contact Support:

    • If the issue persists, contact HubSpot support.
